A few small things to do before I wrap up on PM:UMB.

CHANGING HANDS - August 22nd 2009

It is with some sadness but also excitement because this is a positive move for the site, that I announce that the site will be moving over to new hands. Cringeon whom you all knew as Damien before, is taking ownership of PM:UMB. Although the hand over behind the scenes will be in stages as we wait for servers to run their course to renewel and for domains to become available again, my role will be further in the background as I help Cringeon take the reins, help with a few small pieces behind the scenes and then take a bow out.

This is NOT, I would like to stress, ANYTHING to do with external forces. This is a personal decision based on things that are going on in my life at the moment and the fact that at the moment I do not have the time or sadly energy to be committing every weekend with no break, as well as a full time job, other side work, relationship, home life, family etc.

I think at the moment I am very stretched out and need to take some me time and to focus on other projects that have long been neglected.

This is not a reflection on anyone here - I still love the lot of ya, and that is why I looked to get someone to take over the site instead of shutting down entirely - there is a good community here and a growing site, which I know will be continued under Cringeon.

I'll still be around. I'm retaining all my permissions and role for as long as Cringeon wants me here and I'll still pop in, but I need to be away for longer than my short break recently.

I also worked behind the scenes to get a new owner who has exciting ideas and plans because I did not want you guys to worry that the site would suddenly be influx and it's status unknown. PM:UMB IS NOT SHUTTING DOWN. I want to make that clear. I'm just moving on or rather retiring to a more background role and passing the torch over so to speak.

This site has a lot of promise, it's had it's up's and down's but it is still getting the hits, still growing and will continue to grow. PM:UMB is in a good position right now and I know it will continue to bound forward.

So I hand the floor over to Cringeon, I hope you'll support this, and continue to support the staff, and each other.

And thank you for helping make this place worth carrying on.

RAMPANT - July 11th 2009

Busy Day!

At the same time there is information about the site, user participation etc etc. And news has been updated to include NRV TV's video interview with Twiggy.

COMMUNITY REBIRTH - June 19th to July 3rd 2009

As some of you may be aware MansonUSA was shut down in the middle of June. As such I decided to re-open PM:UMB's forum and give an alternative board to those that wanted it. The community has thrived and gone from strength to strength based on a simple word of mouth campaign and a renewing of a community with a clean slate and new mindset.

At the same time Babalon on the nachtkabarett, was officially announced as Manson's official message baord.

Following a short time away on holiday, I have spent the last few days working on a few elements of the main site. This includes the tour section being continued with a sense of urgency and with a desire to quickly but thoroughly place PM:UMB as a reliable and trusted resource, which was one of my original remits. However given the demise of MUSA, this schedule has been given a time constraint. I have a great set of people working on my staff now and I will introduce them to you as soon as I can, though you will meet them all in the forum.

CLOSURE AND CONTINUATION - June 13th and 14th 2009

It's been a busy month for me so PM:UMB has taken a little backfoot but I'm back again.

Changes have been made to the site. The PMUMB message board has closed down. Thank you to all that helped make it a good community. However I have taken on moderation duties at MansonUSA so I decided to close my board as it seemed like I was duplicating my role.

I will be away at the end of June for a holiday but I have a long list of things I want to get done so some will be done before I go and then I will be back on track when I get back.

TIMELINE AND BANNERS - May 4th 2009

As promised work is again back on track.

This weekend I began to put in place the timeline. Most eras are in now - we just have to finish two to be completely up to date.

These are set out to cover years that encapsulate certain eras. But are not set as 'Mechanical Animal era' for example.

Also I have been working on the forum a little and have put in place a few BBcode mods including the fact that members can now put in you tube videos to their posts and with that in mind have set up a section on the forum called Manson on You Tube.

As well as that the forum banner has been changed to match the main site banner (top header) that you see above and we have on the index page two large banner/button links which take you to the forum and to the PM:UMB my space page.

MASS UPDATE - May 2nd 2009

I apologise for the lack of updates over the past month.

Firstly I took one week off to do a quick site turn around for Tommy Clufetos.

Then the following week came the sad and sudden news that my Nan had passed away.

For obvious reasons I needed to take some time out and members of the forum, members of the myspace page and anyone who knows me from other sites will know that this took a lot out of me.

Now following the funeral and some time to get my head straight I am beginning to 'catch up'. I have updated all the news that was missing and will be endevouring to get back on track with the site as a priority.

Thank you to everyone who expressed their kind wishes during this time and for people's understanding and patience.

VIDEOGRAPHY - March 21st 2009

The videography section began today.

An index was put in with all of the official releases done.

This includes a look at the release of the Lest We Forget DVD and the arthouse movie Doppleherz.

Shortly this section will also include unofficial video and DVD releases, including Fear Of A Satanic Planet and also a breakdonw of every musc video made for Manson.

REFERENCE and MESSAGE BOARD - March 15th 2009

A few updates for you.

We now have a dedicated message board which we hope you will take part in. Although I will administrate the forum, I am leaving most of the mod duties to S.D. whom I welcome back on board to help out on the forum.

I should be displining myself to try and get sections finished but I am also trying to get all indexes up to eliminate first click errors. So now the Reference section index is live online and at the same time the Frequently Asked Questions section is live! The rest will come shortly. I have a few days off in just over a week so I will be working flat out on those days to deliver alot more content.

ANTICHRIST SUPERSTAR EMBLEM - February 16th 2009

One of the main plans for PM: UMB is to put in place a user generated essay section which will hold essays from YOU the user on Manson.

The first of these went in place today:

A fascinating look at the Shock Symbol.

S.D. delves into the background of the simple shock symbol, which became synonymous with Manson's ACSS period but in fact has featured further in history, music and politics. Click here for FULL ESSAY.

Not content with just this PM: UMB has also begun working on the singles section of the discography.

MANSONUSA LINK - February 14th 2009

Today PM: UMB was proudly added to the links page on leading Marlyn Manson fan site The Heirophant (www.mansonusa.com).

The Phant has always been a site I look up to, I mean this is the site that gets exclusive interviews with Manson and his band, and has always delivered the best in Manson reference.

As a member of the site I have stuck on those boards for over six years and was last year given senior member status which in itself was a honour. Being asked to put a link on their link page is just as much of an honor and I thank them for that.

BIOGRAPHY INDEXES - February 13th 2009

Today the biography section was started. Small steps at first, but the indexes are now in.

Three sections, including current, past and contributors, the indexes include a small overview about the individual and they will link eventually to comprehensive biographies as best as information allows.

In an unusual step, PM:UMB will be looking at some of the contributors over the years, principal players. This includes key producers, as well as those who contributed solely as live performers.

DISCOGRAPHY CONTINUES - February 13th 2009

The discography continues to take shape as the EP's/LIVE/BEST OF section was finished today and made live.

This section includes the best of Lest We Forget, the unforgetable live album The Last Tour on Earth, as well as two EP's.

Again all links are in place and all pages for this section have been made and are liive.

DISCOGRAPHY TAKES SHAPE - February 8th 2009

The rebuilding of the new look Provider Module: Ultimate Manson Bible, continues in earnest today.

Now online is the discography. This is being done in a few stages. The first stage being all studio releases are now live and online. Go to discography and you will see the main page carries all albums from Eat Me Drink Me to Portrait of An American Family. This brief list contains clickable links to each album, which holds synopsis, track listing, album credits, reviews and in appropriate cases, DVD and CD secrets.

THIS IS WHERE IT STARTS - February 7th 2009

It's been a long time coming but Provider Module: Ultimate Manson Bible, begins to re-emerge.

Taking a fresh look at the way the site will be built and presented, the site gained a proper prescence again as the news, index and news archive pages went online.

Much is happening in the world of Marilyn Manson as the countdown to new album release begins. PM: UMB wants to be a part of that, and so the redesign begins in earnest.

Streamlined, easier to look at and navigate around and eventually inviting user generated content, we hope you will enjoy!
